Up for sale and ready for immediate purchase is this beautiful Triple black 1970 426/4spd Hemi Challenger CLONE. Perfect for any collector that wants to leave the original Trailer Queen at home and beat the streets excellent recreation dream car. Restored in 2016, building a iconic muscle-car that could be driven and enjoyed was the goal. An H-code body was the platform and from there on out it was outfitted with RT and SE packages with many highly desirable options. A rally dash exposes all the vitals. The iconic gloss black SHAKER hood supplies the air, A factory option rear Satin black spoiler plants the rear, and a RT dual exhaust boast music to you as run this car through the gears. A ground up rotisserie restoration was performed and to go black the extent of the work was performed at expert level. It is over 10 years since the restoration so the paint shows very well despite its age and use. The car features a satin black RT stripe and black vinyl top in perfect condition. A complete OE 426 Hemi #2468330 was sourced and professionally rebuilt very mildly to maintain a stock look with modern performance. Installed were-aftermarket medium lift cam, bored 30over, balanced forged crank, conventional valve train, dual 650 carbs, headers, MSD electronic ignition, and Power master alternator and starter. The power plant performs well in all conditions and has been meticulously maintained since rebuild. The 4spd A-833 gets its through the gears and although the dual quad fed mill is thirsty a Gear Vender Overdrive unit offers relief at the push of a button on the pistol grip shifter. A 8-3/4 posi-traction rear with 4.10 gears gets the billet aluminum Crager wheels in motion wrapped in BF Goodrich rubber. Power Disc brakes up front stop the car with ease. The car is manual steering and drives straight as an arrow at any speed thanks in part to the sub frame connectors. The interior was restored to original form, it features the rally dash and console with everything is in great working order and in good condition.I have inspected all lights, gauges, locks, wipers, and windows and it is all functioning as it should.
